Linux Education and Training
Linux Education and Training is an OPENINTEGRA service for distribution of knowledge regarding Linux-based solutions. The service offers brief and extensive courses where trainees can acquire knowledge on the fulfillment of large scale solutions ranging from such regarding the home user to other related to educational institutions, government and non-government organisations, Internet service providers, companies, etc.
The matter taught in this stream course is essential and compulsory for anyone who would like to further his/her training to the specialised stream course, and without which it would not be possible to comprehend the matter taught in it.

- Packet filtering and address translation with netfilters
- Traffic control, packet selection and management of routing with iproute2
- Packet systems
- Implementation of cryptographic algorithms and protocols under Linux
- Access control system
- Remote access to Linux system through SSH
- File transfer protocol – FTP
- HTTP and HTTPS server under Linux
- Using of BIND9 for DNS server
- Printing system
- Graphic interface
Each topic of the syllabus includes lecture classes and a practical within which the trainees take the practical view over the solution through exercises in a computer class.
